Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning Engineer to join our team at Pearson Whiffin - Manufacturing, Engineering & Technical. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our diesel generators, carrying out repairs, maintenance, and installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out commissioning and testing of diesel generators to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel generators to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Install and commission new diesel generators, ensuring they are properly integrated into our systems.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to develop and implement new procedures and best practices for diesel generator maintenance and commissioning.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working on diesel generators, with a strong understanding of their operation and maintenance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with our engineering team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
