Housing Component Manufacturing Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Housing Component Manufacturing Team Leader to join our team at ACS Performance. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Housing Component Manufacturing Operators and CNC Programmer Operators to achieve business targets while maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example, demonstrating company behaviours and values
  • Clearly communicate key messages and goals to the team
  • Manage the recruitment process and ensure a successful induction of new team members
  • Establish and agree on SMART objectives for individuals and the team, tracking performance accordingly
  • Conduct appraisals, provide regular and constructive feedback, and address performance and conduct issues promptly and constructively with HR support
  • Identify and promote training and development opportunities
  • Manage sickness and annual leave in line with company policy
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team
  • Establish and achieve team KPIs

To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrable supervisory or people management experience, experience undertaking appraisals and performance management procedures, and experience of working within an Engineering Workshop. You will also need to have experience of and ability to read Engineering Drawings, experience of machine shop and/or press cell and/or sheet metal, and a background in Manufacturing Engineering.
