Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Engineer with a strong Electrical focus to enhance our operational team.

Role Location: On-site

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

As a Facilities Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in our Facilities Management team, assisting with both scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks throughout the facility.

Your daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Electrical Tasks: Engaging in various electrical works, including minor installations, repairs, and routine testing. This includes annual emergency lighting checks, distribution board inspections, and compliance with NICEIC standards.
  • Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Executing a range of PPM activities such as water system testing, pump diagnostics, and maintaining HVAC systems.
  • General Maintenance: Addressing reactive maintenance needs and performing minor repairs across electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.

Candidate Profile:

This position is ideal for individuals who possess:

  • Relevant Electrical qualifications (e.g., Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds certifications), with a preference for 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2018).
  • A background in commercial maintenance, covering Electrical, Mechanical, and Fabric disciplines.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and performing reactive repairs on various mechanical and electrical equipment.
