About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Bath and North East Somerset Council. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents in our care homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and ensure that staff are providing meaningful engagement and activity throughout the day.
- Ensure the care floor is staffed appropriately and provide guidance and support with key staff at Supervision.
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations and follow policy and procedure in a proactive manner.
- Support and guide staff in any emergency and undertake audits to provide positive feedback to staff.
Requirements
- Experience in a care setting, preferably in a senior role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and care standards.
