About the Role

CSL Vifor is seeking a highly skilled Market Access Strategist to join our team. As a key player in our commercial operations, you will be responsible for developing and delivering value and access strategies, tools, and materials to support our UK commercial plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the NHS structures, funding flows, drivers, and barriers for our products and therapy areas. You will build and manage relationships with key external payer stakeholders and co-design projects to improve standards of care and access to medicines in CSL Vifor's disease areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Access Strategies: Develop and execute market access strategies and tactics to ensure optimal access for in-market and pipeline products.
  • NHS Insights: Closely monitor trends and changes in the NHS structure and operating model, define implications for the business, and inform the business in a timely manner.
  • Brand Planning: Provide input into brand plans and deliver on market access elements within agreed budgets and timelines.
  • Stakeholder Management: Maintain a network of NHS, payer, and other relevant stakeholder contacts.
  • Internal Collaboration: Influence and mobilize internal business partners and external stakeholders to deliver initiatives that support access to CSL Vifor's pipeline and portfolio.
  • Compliance: Conduct all activities in compliance with industry and company codes of practice, policies, and laws.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have a degree in Sciences, Health Economics, Political Science, Law, Public Policy/Public Administration, or similar. They will also have 3-5 years of experience in Value and Access, ideally in company and/or NHS environments.

Key requirements include:

  • Pharmaceutical Industry Experience: Experience delivering value for high-value medicines in secondary care therapy areas.
  • NHS Understanding: Demonstrable understanding of NHS, relevant commissioning, and access bodies and funding processes for high-value medicines.
  • Data Analysis: Experience utilizing NHS data (HES, QOF) to evaluate the environment and identify opportunities.
  • Market Access Tools: Experience executing market access tools and materials in the UK.
  • Strategic Planning: Proven ability to develop strategies and project plans.
  • Language: Language requirement: English.
