Clinical Psychologist

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our team in Atherton, Manchester. As a Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to work with vulnerable individuals and make a meaningful impact on their lives.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work within the Psychology department at The Spinney Hospital, where you will be able to offer your expertise and experience in a forensic mental health setting. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Nursing, Allied Health Professionals, Social Workers, and Psychiatry, to provide comprehensive support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions, cognitive assessments, and risk assessments.
- Facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and contribute to service developments within the psychology team.
- Work closely with the Lead Psychologist and other team members to provide high-quality clinical supervision and support.
- Develop and maintain high standards of care in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct and Company Policies and Procedures.
- Postgraduate/Doctorate level qualification in Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychology.
- Current registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
