This is a unique opportunity to join CRG | TEC Recruitment as a Transport Network Expert, working with one of the UK's major mobile network operators to build the future of Radio networks.
As a key contributor to the development of the 3- and 5-year RAN strategy plans, you will work closely with the Head of Mobile Network Architecture to define the key requirements for the Transport Network RFI/RFPs, evaluate vendor responses, and identify gaps and strengths.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Transport and Transmission Network technologies and the vendor ecosystem.
- Support RFx activities, including defining requirements, evaluating vendor responses, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with vendors to review technical specifications and documents, and provide expert support to internal stakeholders.
- Communicate complex technical ideas and concepts to audiences with varying technical backgrounds.
About You
We are seeking a senior professional with a strong blend of technical and commercial skills, including:
- Subject matter expert level of experience in Transport and Transmission Network technologies and the vendor ecosystem.
- Strong experience in supporting RFx activities, including defining requirements and evaluating vendor responses.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences.

This is a hybrid opportunity, with 1-2 days per week expected in Reading. We offer a competitive daily rate and the chance to work on a high-profile project with a major mobile network operator.
