Role Overview
As a Mortgage Advisor, your primary responsibility will be to deliver tailored advice in a professional and customer-centric manner, ensuring that customer expectations are met and positive outcomes are achieved. Your role will involve:
- Providing exceptional mortgage advisory services to ensure the most suitable recommendations are made, enhancing the customer experience.
- Acting as a key point of contact for various teams within the organization, offering specialized regulated advice when it is in the best interest of the customer.
- Thoroughly assessing and analyzing individual customer needs and circumstances to gather the necessary information for suitable recommendations.
- Evaluating customer documentation, applications, and affordability to ensure compliance with established lending policies and criteria.
- Consistently delivering high-quality service to all customers, facilitating a seamless advice and application process that leads to favorable outcomes.
- Engaging in continuous professional development within the regulated mortgage sector and the broader industry to identify when Together's products may not serve the customer's best interests.
Qualifications
Essential:
- CeMAP or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Proven experience in providing advice within a regulated customer service environment.
- Ability to comprehend, interpret, and communicate complex information, including financial details, to ensure customers understand the recommendations provided.
- Excellent compliance record with a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
