About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Developer to join our close-knit team in the Midlands. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for creating commercially viable products that meet the high standards of our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative seasonal product briefs across multiple categories
  • Work across multiple development projects, from collabs to new ranges and tweaks to existing core product ranges
  • Create product packs, including artwork drawings, graphics, illustrations, and technical documents
  • Coordinate with suppliers throughout the design and development process
  • Evaluate prototypes and maintain style records and samples
  • Consolidate product information and support the creation of marketing and training materials

About the Company:

Our client is a unique British brand, manufacturer, and distributor of protective clothing and accessories. With a strong focus on innovation, creative design, and close manufacturing partnerships, we are now looking to recruit an experienced Technical Product Developer to accelerate our product development.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of experience in technical design/product development, production, or merchandising, preferably in the outdoor/sportswear industry
  • Bachelor's degree in textile/apparel/product design, patternmaking, or similar
  • Knowledge and experience of fit, apparel construction, material construction, pattern making, bill of materials, and surface applications
  • History with European and far-east vendors and manufacturers
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
