Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Fund Accountant to join our Finance team at Trinity House Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Finance and Finance Manager in ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of the company's financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Statement Review: Review accounting records and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- NAV Review: Review quarterly Net Asset Value (NAV) to ensure it is accurately reflected in financial statements.
- Cash Management: Perform daily cash management and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Asset and Liability Reconciliation: Carry out periodic reconciliation of assets, liabilities, income, and expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Fee Accruals and Prepayments: Calculate fee accruals and prepayments to ensure accurate financial records.
- Cost Transparency Reports: Prepare quarterly cost transparency reports to provide stakeholders with accurate financial information.
- Equalisation and Unitisation Calculations: Review or perform equalisation and unitisation calculations to ensure accurate financial records.
- Investor Reports: Contribute to quarterly investor reports to provide stakeholders with accurate financial information.
- Valuation of Partnerships: Contribute to the valuation of the company's partnerships, including obtaining and reviewing the valuation policies of delegated managers.
Requirements:
- Communication Skills: Able to communicate complex and highly technical matters in a way that is understandable and relevant to stakeholders.
- Fund Accounting Experience: Experience in fund accounting with knowledge of NAV, valuations, equalisations, and financial reporting.
- Report Writing and Presentation: Experience in producing and presenting quarterly fund performance reports.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills to develop pragmatic solutions to complex problems.
- Verbal and Written Communication: Good report-writing and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

- Salary: Circa £55,000
