Job Purpose

As a Senior Consultant at RSM, you will play a key role in managing the Technology Risk Assurance (TRA) client portfolio, working closely with Partners/Directors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of assignments at clients' sites.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality assignments, providing solutions to complex issues and ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Lead TRA teams and junior individuals to achieve effective delivery of TRA services.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients in the regional area, identifying opportunities for growth and development.
  • Perform complex Financial Services TRA assignments, leveraging expertise in specialist fields.
  • Represent RSM in TRA matters, including client meetings and audit committees.
  • Draft proposals and assist in preparing tenders, presenting them as part of business development.
  • Build relationships with clients, identifying potential additional work opportunities.

Requirements
  • CISA qualified.
  • Relevant experience in IT Audit, Internal Audit, and Financial Services or Not for Profit.
  • Demonstrates expertise in a specialist field, such as Cyber Risk Strategy.
  • Effective use of IT, including Excel, audit, and accounts packages, Outlook.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of internal audit processes and relevant sector issues.

Desirable
  • Master's degree in a relevant subject, such as Information Systems.
  • Relevant SOX experience.
  • Takes responsibility for work tasks and quality, managing own workload and deadlines under supervision.
  • Shows enthusiasm and commitment to undertaking tasks, seeing them through to completion.
  • Willing to travel nationally and stay away from home when required (less than 30% of the time).
  • Confident and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrates active listening skills and undertakes timely action where appropriate.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Able to organize and manage time efficiently and effectively, while being flexible.
  • Considers development of specialist areas of knowledge.
  • Able to work autonomously and proactively.
