Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct assistance and care to young individuals on a scheduled basis
  • Collaborate closely with social services, guardians, and other organizations to ensure holistic support
  • Organize and evaluate care strategies for youth transitioning to independence
  • Ensure the facility meets health, safety, and primary care standards
  • Involve young individuals in decision-making processes and future planning
  • Address safeguarding issues and report them appropriately

Household Responsibilities:

  • Support with household upkeep tasks
  • Notify and follow up on required repairs
  • Oversee allocated budgets for designated purposes

Personal Attributes:

  • Serve as a positive role model for youth
  • Stay informed on best practices and engage in professional growth
  • Report any concerns or unethical behavior

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Complete any other assigned tasks
  • Work shifts that may include weekends and holidays as necessary
  • Be open to working at various locations as required

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children in a regulated setting
  • Possess a Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification or equivalent
  • Valid Enhanced DBS Check
  • Driver's license
  • Capability to manage the daily needs of young individuals
