Private Client Lawyer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join our team at Poole Alcock Solicitors. As a Private Client Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal services across a broad range of private client matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice on private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate planning, and probate.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as wills, trusts, and power of attorney.
  • Manage the administration of estates, including obtaining grants of probate and letters of administration.
  • Handle complex cases involving high-value estates and cross-border issues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing a high level of client care.
  • Stay up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations.
  • Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and grow the firm's private client practice.
  • Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service to all clients.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate in England and Wales.
  • 3 years plus PQE within Private Client law.
  • Strong technical knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively and efficiently.
  • Contributes to business development activities, including networking and attending sector events.
  • Experience in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Have experience of supervising team members.
