Transformation Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Transformation Project Manager to join our team at NELFT North East London Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Transformation Portfolio Management Office, you will play a critical role in delivering successful transformation projects that improve access, quality, outcomes, and experiences for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Manage allocated projects across the Trust, ensuring delivery of transformations and improvements in a collaborative, effective, and timely manner.
- Work closely with the Transformation SRO and other Transformation Programme Managers to ensure all programmes of work are coordinated, complementary, and understand any co-dependencies.
- Initiate new projects, including the support and development of effective project documentation and management of projects.
- Manage, monitor, report, and track the progress of projects, ensuring the intended benefits are achieved with outcomes maximised.
- Successfully manage expectations on project deliverables, working alongside key stakeholders to understand and interpret potential constraints/risks to project objectives.
- Delegate project work effectively and ensure it is completed as necessary within the agreed timescales.
- Ensure project management remains flexible and dynamic, responsive to change at local and national level.
- Identify new opportunities for efficiencies and productivity, leading on plans for the delivery of these projects.
- Build constructive and effective relationships with colleagues and staff at all levels, utilising relationships and informal networks to achieve delivery of targets.
- Use persuasive, diplomatic, and motivational skills to break down barriers of misunderstanding, employing a high level of interpersonal and communication skills to achieve a collaborative and early resolution of any highly contentious matters.
NELFT places a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training, and the allocation of equipment.
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period unless they are currently part way through a probationary period or are a bank member of staff.
This post also attracts payment for a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary, with a minimum of £4,551 to a maximum of £5,735.
