We are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Surveying Specialist to join and contribute to the establishment of a new surveying division within QTS Group.

In light of our ongoing growth and success in securing significant framework contracts, we are keen to bolster our surveying teams in various regions.

QTS Group has made substantial investments in our Surveying Department and is now looking to replicate this success in new areas.

Joining our well-established team, which comprises senior surveyors with extensive industry experience, you will play a pivotal role in the development and expansion of our surveying capabilities.


Key Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Surveyor is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of surveying practices and engineering work setup.
  • Familiarity with processing software, particularly AutoCAD and LSS, is preferred.

As a Lead Surveying Specialist, you will be responsible for mentoring junior staff and taking on a leadership role within the team.

Your duties will include leading topographical surveys, overseeing quality assurance processes, and providing guidance on best practices to fellow surveyors.

You should be adept at all aspects of setting out, interpreting technical drawings, and confidently instructing site teams.

A willingness to mentor other engineers is essential, along with a strong understanding of track monitoring processes and procedures.

Additionally, you may be called upon to assist with management responsibilities as needed.

We expect our Lead Surveying Specialist to possess skills in various surveying techniques, including laser scanning, drone operations, and 3D modeling.

Moreover, a commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of technological advancements in the industry is crucial.

A valid UK driving license is required.
