Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Monitor and mentor the team to ensure adherence to safe working practices and high-quality workmanship.
  • Collaborate with the design and project engineering teams to resolve technical queries and ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Support site managers with client liaison, attending meetings, and reporting progress to ensure effective communication and project success.
  • Liaise with the supply chain to provide technical support and ensure efficient operation of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage change control with site installation works to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Experience in clean and wastewater mechanical installation and commissioning.
  • Capability of being appointed as authorized person for isolation and permit to work purposes.
  • Responsibility for installation supervision and assisting with the commissioning of mechanical equipment.
  • Responsibility for equipment alignment checks, pressure testing, and other mechanical quality assurance issues on site.
  • Mechanical Engineering qualification, Site supervisors' qualification, and CSCS card.
  • Experience in the water industry from a main contractor background is essential.
  • SMSTS certification.
