Position: Automotive Bodyshop Operations Manager

Location: Darlington, DL3

Compensation: Up to £55,000 (based on experience) + bonus – OTE Up to £75,000 + car allowance

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week - No Weekends

Our client has recently launched a cutting-edge Bodyshop in Darlington and is in search of a skilled individual to take on the role of Bodyshop Manager and guide the team into the future.

Your Responsibilities:

· Oversee a team of specialists including paint sprayers, panel beaters, MET technicians, estimators, and administrative personnel.

· Demonstrate experience in team leadership and a results-oriented mindset.

· Comprehend business requirements, financial accounts, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

· Efficiently allocate site resources and manage costs to maximize productivity and profitability.

· Cultivate and maintain relationships with service providers and suppliers.

· Address customer concerns and complaints with professionalism.

· Possess prior experience as a Bodyshop Site Manager with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.

· Ensure consistent compliance with health and safety standards.

· Strategically plan workloads to meet agreed timelines for vehicle readiness.

· Execute tasks skillfully and safely, adhering to manufacturers' specifications.

· Collaborate effectively within a team or work independently with minimal supervision.

· Maintain a flexible approach and commitment to high standards, focusing on customer satisfaction.

Experience managing a busy Accident Repair Bodyshop
Proven track record in budget management
Experience leading a diverse team of both productive and non-productive staff
