About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electronics Collection and Disposal Driver to join our team at Driver Hire Reading. As an essential member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of electronic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle checks, including oil, coolant, and AdBlue levels, and report any vehicle damage or faults immediately.
  • Vehicle Care: Take ownership of your allocated vehicle, keeping it clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Driving Duties: Safely drive to and from customer and supplier sites, adhering to all UK driving regulations.
  • Loading and Securing: Safely load your vehicle with electronic equipment, securing the load with provided ratchet straps, and ensuring all items are ready for transit.
  • Documentation: Use the company-provided mobile phone to ensure that all collections and deliveries are signed for by the site contact, maintaining accurate records of your work.
