Job Title: Area Sales Manager

A leading manufacturing company with a strong presence in the market is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover a specific territory. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in FMCG territory sales and be able to drive new business growth while maintaining existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop existing accounts to increase sales and revenue
  • Promote the company brand and products to potential and existing customers
  • Drive sales growth and exceed targets by identifying new business opportunities
  • Adapt approach to offer bespoke services to various account types
  • Utilize the internal sales team for regular orders and follow up on new leads
  • Participate in conference calls and head office meetings to stay updated on company strategies
  • Manage diary, work autonomously, and hit sales targets
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure long-term business growth
Requirements:
  • Proven FMCG territory sales background (2 - 3 years experience)
  • Track record of meeting sales targets and driving business growth
  • New business acquisition skills and ability to adapt to changing market conditions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Self-motivated and driven to exceed targets
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage sales strategies
  • Live centrally within the territory to ensure effective coverage

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 (£35k OTE; 4% GP on most products across the group and own brand in and 2% for third-party products) + Company Car
