About the Role

In this newly created position as a Wound Care Specialist, you will be responsible for the sales of wound care products in the community setting, covering the London area.

Territory planning will be crucial to ensure regular interaction and relationship building with customers, and collaboration with other team members across the business will be essential to your success.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this is a permanent, field-based position, and you will be required to live on the territory (within the M25 ideally). Territory travel will be necessary, including some overnights, and occasional travel off territory for business meetings and conferences as required.

This role is a hybrid position with a blend of face-to-face and remote sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales growth year on year, as set by company targets
  • Manage and grow accounts through strategic business planning
  • Identify new business opportunities through effective market analysis
  • Develop influential relationships with decision-makers
  • Identify key opinion leaders and key accounts at territory level

Requirements

This role would suit an existing account manager/sales specialist or a clinical nurse with experience in the medical sector.

Desirable qualifications for this role include:

  • Experience within the medical sector
  • Working knowledge of the wound care sector across the region would be advantageous
  • An interest and ability in developing professional working relationships
  • Commercial acumen
  • Good knowledge of IT skills, tech-savvy
