About the Role:

This is a key position in our Business Systems department, responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the RBLI cloud infrastructure, recommending improvement projects, and supporting their implementation. The team provides 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line support for network and IT services, implements IT projects, and data engineering services. The team is overseen by the Assistant Director of Risk and Compliance, who holds overall responsibility for the performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the standards used to deliver the RBLI Business systems helpdesk, working to formal methods of service delivery.
  • Architect the RBLI networks, leading on projects as required to effect agreed change and improvement.
  • Manage cloud-based systems for RBLI using Azure and Office 365, including setup, security, training, and administration.

Requirements:

  • Microsoft AZ 900 Azure fundamentals
  • Knowledge of relevant cloud technologies, technical systems, and tooling.
  • 1-2 years' experience in working in the implementation of Cloud-based networks
  • Experience of administering, managing, and troubleshooting SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online.
  • Experience with VM configuration and deployment
  • Azure files experience
  • Experience of managing organization file storage

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Microsoft AZ Azure 104 Administrator
  • Knowledge of formal standards for architectural design, such as TOGAF and ITIL 4
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud
  • Implementation experience of ITIL or similar methodology
  • Intune laptop deployment experience
  • Experience of physical network management
  • Full driving license held
