Culinary Service Associate - Arena Racing Company

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide exceptional service to all patrons in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner. Ensure that guests experience the highest level of customer satisfaction consistently. Offer knowledgeable recommendations on all menu items available at the venue. Foster a cheerful and inviting atmosphere throughout the establishment. Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team, ensuring that all guest requirements are met to the utmost standard. Manage inventory levels and rotation in both work and storage areas to minimize waste and assist with inventory audits. Keep the service area stocked with necessary items such as glassware, ice, condiments, and other essentials according to predetermined levels and operational needs. Prepare dining areas for the service of meals, beverages, and light refreshments. Deliver food and beverages to guests efficiently, demonstrating comprehensive service knowledge, while maintaining cleanliness and performing all duties as directed by management. Serve beverages from the bar as instructed by the management team. Maintain cleanliness in work and public areas before, during, and after service hours, adhering to Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines. Accurately process and record all orders for billing purposes. Ensure all transactions are processed through the tills and payments are collected following established procedures. Close down tills in accordance with company protocols. Keep accurate temperature records and other necessary documentation. Comply with all licensing regulations and procedures. Handle cash, inventory, and equipment securely. Serve as a point of information for customers. Document waste in accordance with venue procedures and manage waste disposal in line with recycling initiatives. Follow all company policies and procedures diligently. Perform other reasonable duties as required by business needs.

Demonstrate a commitment to quality service and high standards. Possess strong interpersonal skills – friendly, confident, and outgoing. Have strong numerical and literacy abilities. Uphold honesty and integrity in all interactions. Previous experience in a hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
