Job Title: Skilled Fitters

We are seeking a skilled fitter to join our team in East Cowes, Isle of Wight. As a skilled fitter, you will be responsible for working on a range of main and subassemblies from detailed parts using appropriate assembly techniques, tools, and fixtures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and understand processes and procedures to meet all required quality standards.
  • Production of 1st off Production Units and work on mechanical assemblies.
  • Adherence to regulatory standards, customer specifications, and health and safety.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years fitting experience plus a recognised industry-related apprenticeship or NVQ 3 or City and Guilds 3 qualification.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team or on own initiative.
  • Role subject to security clearance.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of £17.06 - £21.33 per hour worked, dependent on shift.
  • Accommodation allowance considered for mainland applicants.
