Aspris is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team of compassionate caregivers.

In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional care and support to young people residing in our residential homes. You will work closely with the Registered Manager, ensuring the smooth operation of both facilities and contributing to the well-being of each individual under our care.

Your Responsibilities
  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of all children and young people within our homes.
  • Collaborate with the Registered Manager to deliver high-quality care that aligns with Aspris Care's philosophy and Person-Centred Values therapeutic approach.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Support Workers, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Provide consistent and nurturing care to young people, addressing their individual needs and promoting their personal growth.
  • Effectively manage challenging behaviors while maintaining a calm and respectful demeanor.

Your Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will possess:

  • Minimum of 18 months of experience working within a residential care setting.
  • Achieved your Level 3 Diploma (Residential Childcare) or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with young people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Confidence in leading and motivating a team of Support Workers.
  • Experience working with children who may exhibit challenging behaviors.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns, including weekends, evenings, and sleep-in duties on a rota basis.
  • Full driving license is essential.
