Job Title: Civil Engineer

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of infrastructure projects, working closely with our experienced engineers and directors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and produce detailed designs for infrastructure projects, including infrastructure and associated planning schemes.
  • Prepare contract documents and specifications, and undertake inspections and surveys.
  • Train and guide junior staff in technical matters, and manage small projects or elements of projects as appropriate.
  • Develop design solutions best suited to benefit clients' needs, and contribute to the technical development of the design function of the team.

Requirements:
  • BSc /BEng in Civil Engineering.
  • Min. 1+ years' experience in the infrastructure design industry.
  • Experience in preparing detailed design for infrastructure projects through the Section 278/38 agreement process.
  • Knowledge of Section 104/106 water industry agreements.
  • Knowledge of DCG and relevant drainage standards and guidance.
  • Awareness of DMRB, Manual for Streets and general Highway standards.
  • Proficient in the use of MicroDrainage.
  • Ability in Civil 3D software that can be developed.
  • Good communicator (written and verbal).
  • Good team player to contribute to dynamic group.
  • Commercially aware.
