About the Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Central Operations Team at INEOS Grangemouth. This is an exciting opportunity to work on planned periods of maintenance and improve the efficiency of our site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical standards and specifications for work.
  • Review and validate work scopes and ensure alignment with schedule and risk.
  • Prepare Scopes of Work and Engineering Information Transmitalls.
  • Input to the validation of workpacks and ensure they meet event requirements.
  • Ensure Mechanical long lead delivery items are defined and agreed.
  • Ensure engineering and technical data is fully incorporated into work packs.
  • Agree TAR prep-engineering milestones with TAR Preps Leader and TAR manager.
  • Check and approve TAR isometrics.
  • Provide discipline expertise for Mechanical Engineering based TAR workscope.
  • Ensure technical queries are recorded, tracked, and progressed to close out.

About You

We are looking for a Degree qualified Mechanical Engineer who is Chartered or working towards it. Alternatively, you can be educated to HNC/HND level in Mechanical Engineering/Fabrication/Construction with extensive experience in a similar role.
