The Role:

The Resident Relationship Officer plays a vital role in ensuring that every resident living in an Enfield Council Home has access to a single point of contact for guidance, support, coaching, and empowerment to identify their inner strength and new pathways of progression and resolution of issues impacting their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Case Assessment and Support: Accept and assess referrals of complex and often high-risk cases, ensuring clear outcomes-based plans and risk management action plans are in place.
    1. Mental Health Support: Provide support for residents dealing with mental health issues.
    2. Domestic Abuse Support: Assist residents experiencing domestic abuse.
    3. Harassment and Hate Crime Support: Support residents affected by harassment and hate crime.
    4. Loss and Bereavement Support: Offer support for residents dealing with loss and bereavement.
    5. Financial Support: Assist residents with substantial debt and financial hardship.
  2. Tenant Support: Provide initial and tailored support to new social housing tenants to ensure they understand their rights and responsibilities and how to maximize opportunities from their wider support network.
