Position Overview:
Vanta Staffing Limited is currently seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our esteemed client in the engineering sector.

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to advance their career within a reputable and thriving organization.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on industrial machinery including shredders, granulators, and conveyor systems.
  • Identify and rectify faults in plant equipment or coordinate the installation of replacements as necessary.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  • Familiarity with the repair of mobile equipment, such as forklifts.
  • Experience in the maintenance of heavy goods vehicles (HGV) or similar vehicles is advantageous but not essential.

Compensation:
Salary range: £40,000 - £45,000

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday (45 hours) & Saturday (4 hours)

Permanent
