Job Summary:
Spire Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Nurse to join their Outpatient Department team on a full-time basis. As a Senior Nurse, you will play a key role in the management and leadership of the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Outpatient Manager in the management and leadership of the team, driving growth and expansion.
- Provide individualized nursing care and procedures to the highest standards, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Chaperone and assist Consultants during examinations and minor surgical procedures, and assist in arranging investigations as required.
- Carry out risk assessments and Datix investigations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and skills, as well as those of others, to ensure best practice in health and safety.
- Assist in maintaining and developing services, ensuring alignment with hospital goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Registered Adult Nurse with at least 2 years of registration experience.
- NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
- Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional and clinical knowledge acquired through state registration.
- Compassionate and able to demonstrate excellent patient care.
- Strong assessment and communication skills.
- Computer literate and efficient with workload.
- Experience in Outpatients or a similar setting is desirable.
