Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated researcher to join our team as a Kavli Institute Fellow or Senior Fellow. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Astrophysics or a related field and will be expected to build an independent research program in one of our key scientific themes: the cosmic microwave background and the early Universe; the formation and evolution of galaxies and of supermassive black holes; the epoch of cosmic reionization; evolution of the intergalactic medium; the nature of dark matter; large-scale structure and precision cosmology; and gravitational waves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent research in one of our key scientific themes
  • Disseminate research findings through publications and presentations
  • Contribute to the Institute's public-engagement activities
  • Assist with the supervision of graduate students
What We Offer

We offer a highly competitive salary, a research allowance of £10,000 per annum, and a generous relocation package. Successful applicants will also have opportunities for collaborative work with members of the Kavli Institute and will be part of a lively and stimulating scientific environment.
