The Role

We are seeking a skilled Wheel Maintenance Technician to join our team at Greater Anglia. As a key member of our depot utilities function, you will be responsible for carrying out Post Tyre Turning checks, minor modifications, and activities on our Stadler fleet.

Your duties will include executing Post Tyre Turning Checks (PTTC) on the Stadler fleet in accordance with the Stadler VMI and relevant local procedures. You will also provide support to the depot utilities function and assist in maintaining safe and effective plant and works equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute Post Tyre Turning Checks (PTTC) on the Stadler fleet
  • Carry out minor modifications and activities on the Stadler fleet
  • Provide support to the depot utilities function
  • Maintain safe and effective plant and works equipment
Requirements

We are looking for a colleague who is familiar with fleet maintenance and operational tasks, as well as asset and information system knowledge. You will need to have the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels and have the aptitude and interpersonal skills to encourage productive teamwork.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering apprenticeship, city and guilds (or comparable) qualifications, and appropriate experience.
