Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at Care Concern Group. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our care homes, including maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure the safety of residents and staff.
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
- Collaborate with the facilities manager to develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair work, preferably in a care home or similar environment.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of building maintenance and repair.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
