Position: ADHD Educational Support Specialist

Location: South Shore, Blackpool

Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

Compensation: £90 - £100 Per day

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students diagnosed with ADHD within a mainstream primary educational environment.
  • Support the execution of tailored educational plans for students with ADHD.
  • Observe and document student progress and behavioral patterns.
  • Work collaboratively with educators and support personnel to foster a nurturing educational atmosphere.
  • Provide individualized assistance to students as required.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Experience in supporting individuals with ADHD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • Knowledge of educational methodologies for aiding students with ADHD.
Educational Background:
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional qualifications or certifications in special education or ADHD support are advantageous.
Professional Experience:
  • Previous experience in educational environments.
  • Experience with students who have special educational needs, particularly those with ADHD.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Understanding of ADHD and its effects on learning processes.
  • Ability to apply behavior management techniques.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving circumstances and student requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in ADHD support or special education.
  • Experience engaging with children and young adults.
Work Environment:
  • Position within a school or educational institution.
  • Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday.
  • Potential for some flexibility in working hours.

All quoted pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
