Position Overview:
As a CNC Machining Specialist, you will be based in a dynamic environment where your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Programming and operating CNC machines to manufacture components from exotic materials.
  • Utilizing steadies to machine components up to 4 meters in length.
  • Ensuring that all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Documenting all necessary data and reporting accurately.
  • Using calibrated inspection equipment to verify product quality.
  • Maintaining the unique identity and status of all handled products.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and company regulations.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a time-served qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and have a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar capacity. A solid understanding of ISO 9001/2015 quality systems is essential, along with strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in determining tool requirements for CNC operations.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and interpreting CNC programs, specifically in FANUC.
  • Experience in generating programs offline using CAPT CAD Cam systems or One CNC.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Competence in using various measuring instruments to ensure precision in machining.

Compensation and Benefits:
The role offers a basic salary of £32,000 to £34,000 per annum, with opportunities for overtime at enhanced rates. Additional benefits include:
