About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our Property Services team in the Southampton and Hampshire region. As an Electrician with SNG, you will play a crucial role in providing efficient and effective electrical services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine testing and repairs of electrical services equipment in customers' homes, adhering to Institute of Electrical Engineering (IEE) wiring regulations and Sovereign's established standard procedures.
  • Undertake responsive repairs and works within planned teams, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate, requisition, and recommend the acquisition of necessary materials and spares to ensure satisfactory repairs and maintenance.
  • Record and report on the status and condition of electrical services equipment via periodic inspection sheets and minor works/installation certificates.
Requirements
  • Relevant and up-to-date qualifications, including NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), 18th Edition (BS7671), and City & Guild 2391 Electrical Test/Inspect.
  • Experience within a similar role in the Residential/Housing sector, with a strong understanding of electrical services and maintenance.
  • Full and current driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's experience, as travel is required for this role.
  • Satisfactory licence check, essential qualifications check, and basic disclosure.
