The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at King's College Hospital is a premier establishment, featuring 36 cots dedicated to delivering exceptional level 3 Medical and Surgical care for critically ill term and preterm infants, including those born as early as 22 weeks gestation. As a significant referral center, we provide intensive care services across a broad geographical region.

Our commitment to high-quality care has led to one of the lowest mortality rates nationally. Collaborating with our team of Neonatal therapists, we aim for optimal Neurodevelopmental outcomes and advocate for Family Integrated Care, including Parent-led ward rounds in our lower dependency areas.

Become a part of our experienced team of Pediatric Nurses and Senior Sisters who will offer extensive support in your role. We provide a customized orientation program and a personalized career pathway to facilitate your professional development.

Collaboration with our sister unit offers cross-site work opportunities for Junior Sister positions.

Our maternity department oversees over 6,000 deliveries each year and is supported by the renowned Harris Birthright Fetal Medicine Centre.
