Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a Further Education College in South East London.

About the Role:

This is a part-time role, working term-time only, with the possibility of a 5-day assignment. You will be working with a male student on a 1:1 basis, supporting them in their L3 ICT Y2 mainstream college experience. Your primary focus will be on helping the student navigate the college environment, including lunch and other daily activities.

You will be working closely with the SEND provision team and must be willing and trained to provide personal support if required.

Requirements:
  • Good communication skills and experience working with young people with learning difficulties/disabilities
  • Experience in Education, preferably in a SEND setting
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and motivate/support young people
  • Enhanced DBS certificate, including the child and adults barred list
  • Local to Bromley/SE London
