We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team at Randstad Delivery (GBS) in a Production Operative role. As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for safely operating machinery to create packaging products for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely Operate Machinery: Ensure the safe operation of machinery to produce high-quality packaging products.
- Maximize Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Meet Productivity Targets: Work towards and achieve productivity and performance targets set by management.
- Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure consistent and high-quality standards are met at all times.
- Perform Planned Maintenance: Maintain and clean machinery in line with the planned maintenance schedule.
- Adhere to Health and Safety Legislation: Work in line with a safe system of work (SSOW) and adhere to UK Health and Safety legislation at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Health and Safety Knowledge: Strong knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation.
- Team Player: Consider themselves to be a good team player, motivated, and quality conscious.
- FLT License (Desirable): FLT License is desirable but not essential.
