About the Role

MAG is seeking a highly skilled Product Director to lead the development of our Airport Lounge global product vision and strategy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and executing a product operating model that drives high-performing teams and individuals across Product Development, Bid and Delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive product strategy that considers opportunities across the entire customer journey, aligning with MAG's growth ambitions.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Ops to establish a product operating model that ensures high-performing teams and individuals across Product Development, Bid and Delivery.
  • Determine the design of all Lounge products, including size, layout, and fit and finish, considering the size of each airport and local influences.
  • Define the bid strategy and roadmap, ensuring all products have the capability to profitably scale globally via various investment and operating models.
  • Ensure all products have the capability to deliver acceptable returns and give MAG the best chance of winning new locations.
  • Lead the successful execution of product initiatives through close collaboration with the operations team.
  • Create a F&B offering that balances experience with profit per guest, optimizing standardization and considering local influences.
  • Develop and execute a digital platform to optimize Lounge products, including pre-book, guest check-in, revenue management, and stock inventory management.
  • Determine appropriate partners and execute partnership agreements consistent with MAG's overall Experiences strategy.
  • Lead the opening or refit of locations to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management at C-suite level.
  • Significant commercial and senior leadership experience.
  • A track record of developing and executing product strategy to drive profitability and significant growth.
  • Experience of P&L management, ensuring key value is delivered within cost and timescales agreed.
  • Passionate about delivering great customer experiences.
  • Self-starter, hands-on, self-motivated, intentional, and results-oriented.
  • Ideas generation and workshop leadership and facilitation to manage successful innovation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Capability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to spot warning signs of potential problems and to problem-solve to ensure successful delivery.
  • Ability to foster a culture of data-driven decision making, accountability, and metrics for measuring performance.
  • Ability to balance priorities and workload.
