We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IP Capacity Planner to join our team at CityFibre. As a key member of our network planning team, you will be responsible for planning and delivering the active service portfolio, including system and network administration and project management.
Key Responsibilities- Model and monitor new active city networks to ensure optimal performance and capacity.
- Identify and expand the existing network as needed to meet growing demand.
- Deliver short, medium, and long-term forecasts for all network components to inform strategic planning.
- Improve network capacity monitoring and operational excellence through automation and AI.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships to secure repeatable supply chains.
- Strong understanding of platform monitoring and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of IP routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.
- Experience with MPLS, LDP, and RSVP.
- Layer 2 technologies, with an emphasis on ethernet.
- Experience in backplane capacity and ISP 95 percentile reporting.
- Rack space and power allowance.
- Experience working on the development of bespoke capacity planning tools.
