In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the registered provider and collaborate closely with the Deputy Manager to deliver effective management and leadership to our staff. Our commitment at Lakelands Lodge is to provide exceptional services, ranging from residential support to specialized nursing and dementia care.
As the Registered Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Guaranteeing that all residents receive high-quality, individualized care
- Being accountable for the Lodge's daily operations and ensuring compliance with its registration
- Meeting and exceeding all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements
- Ensuring that staff possess the necessary skills and competencies to foster a developmental environment
- Offering effective supervision and support to all team members
- Representing the Lodge effectively and collaborating with local service providers
- Cultivating an ethos that honors residents' needs and celebrates their unique identities
- Acting as a representative for the Lodge, establishing strong communication channels
- Managing personnel and overseeing budgets in line with established policies
- Providing staff coverage as required by the registered provider
- Coordinating with external professionals, Lodge stakeholders, residents, and their families
- Ensuring adherence to effective referral protocols and practices
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must have:
- A nursing qualification or relevant nursing experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager in an adult residential environment
- A solid understanding of current legal responsibilities and standards for the service
- Familiarity with CQC regulations and standards in health and social care
- Experience with CQC inspections.
