Outreach Tutor

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Outreach Tutor to deliver tailored 1:1 tuition packages to young people without a school placement.

As an Outreach Tutor, you will create, plan, and deliver bespoke lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

This role is ideal for an experienced teacher looking to step away from the classroom and offer personalized, enjoyable lessons.

Pupils may have been out of education for some time, so it's your responsibility to reengage them in their learning and provide structure to their daily routine.

Prospero Teaching will work closely with you to monitor progression and support effective learning.

Location: Within the community or pupils' home in Exmouth

Position: 1:1 Outreach Tutor

Type of work: Contract

Start date: ASAP

Duration: Until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement

Contract type: Temporary

Full-time/part-time: Part-time (15 hours per week, per student)

Minimum rate of pay: £27+ per hour

Hours: Working hours can differ, depending on the convenient timings of the family

• Hold the right to work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child-related references
