Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEN Intervention Tutor to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Intervention Tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to children with Special Education Needs in the Spalding area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging sessions based on the individual needs of each child, focusing on core subjects such as reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Work with children with a range of Special Education Needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH), and Physical and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD).
- Track progress and plan next steps for each child, ensuring that they are meeting their learning outcomes.
- Develop and implement effective behavior management strategies to ensure that children are focused and on task.
- Collaborate with parents and carers to ensure that the support provided is tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children with Special Education Needs.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging sessions that meet the individual needs of each child.
- Strong behavior management skills and the ability to develop effective strategies to support children with challenging behaviors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and carers.
- Ability to track progress and plan next steps for each child, ensuring that they are meeting their learning outcomes.
