We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sea Freight Imports Coordinator to join our team at Freight Personnel. Our client is a leading Global Freight Forwarding and Supply Chain Solutions company, and we have an exciting opportunity for a Sea Freight Forwarding clerk to join their Ocean freight imports desk in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full Sea freight cycle management, including taking bookings, handling quotations, and preparing and completing all documentation from bookings to final invoice.
  • Negotiating rates with shipping lines and ensuring customs entries and clearances are completed by the customs team.
  • Providing excellent client and customer service skills, with a strong focus on building relationships and delivering results.
  • Working as an individual or in a team environment, with a strong ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively.
Requirements:
  • Experience of Sea Freight - Import and Sea Freight Forwarding.
  • Good understanding of documentation for sea freight movements.
  • Excellent customer service skills and good client liaison skills.
  • Strong team player with great product knowledge within Freight Forwarding.
Benefits:
  • Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 dependent upon experience.
  • Pension.
  • 23 Days Holiday to start.
  • Hybrid working available with 2 days working from home once passed probationary period.
