Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Bristol. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to formulate care plans and utilise appropriate assessments.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Assess and manage risks identified through patient assessments, working in conjunction with other health professionals.
- Regularly review risk factors and modify care plans as necessary, in collaboration with the team.
- Ensure clinical practice is evidence-based, consistent with relevant guidelines and organisational policies.
- Undertake clinical supervision to enhance competence and clinical practice.
- Act as a mentor or preceptor to students, support workers, or healthcare assistants, as required.
- Supervise junior staff in carrying out care plans.
- Liaise effectively with carers, relatives, and other stakeholders to provide a seamless and integrated service.
- Comply with Active Care Group Health and Safety Policies and Protocols to ensure safe working practices.
- Protect vulnerable adults and children from internal and external factors, acting as a patient advocate.
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), or Registered Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD).
- Legal right to work in the UK.
