About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Commercial team at Parkwood Holdings Limited. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for undertaking grounds maintenance work, including mowing large grassed areas, strimming, blowing, line marking, and renovation, hedge trimming, and general maintenance to shrub beds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake grounds maintenance work, including mowing, strimming, blowing, line marking, and renovation of grassed areas
  • Trim hedges and maintain shrub beds
  • Perform sports markings and hard surface spraying operations
  • Work on a variety of sites across the region
Requirements
  • Hold a full, clean driving licence
  • Experience of driving light commercial vehicles and towing trailers is desirable
  • Be reliable and conscientious, with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Have the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Previous experience of grounds maintenance work, horticultural tasks, and use of handheld machinery is desirable
