About the Role

ChandlerKBS is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Director to lead our infrastructure operations in the Midlands and North of England. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving growth, profitability, and expansion in this region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Deliver Strategic Vision: Develop and implement a long-term strategy for the success and growth of ChandlerKBS in the Midlands and North of England, in conjunction with our sector leads.
  • Lead Infrastructure Operations: Lead a team of professionals to deliver infrastructure projects and programs, ensuring timely completion, quality, and profitability.
  • Build and Mentor Teams: Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver exceptional results.
  • Drive Growth and Profitability: Identify opportunities for new work, develop business relationships, and drive growth and profitability in the region.
  • Manage Budgets and Resources: Ensure project fees and budgets are adhered to, with robust contract and project change control processes in place.
  • Develop Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality: Ensure service delivery is in accordance with ChandlerKBS policies and procedures, particularly Health & Safety and Quality Assurance.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading delivery of major projects and programs with key clients.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial skills, with the ability to deliver profitable work across multiple sectors.
  • Business Development: Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities, particularly in the infrastructure sector.
  • Team Management: Proven ability to build and mentor high-performing teams, driving collaborative behaviors and exceptional results.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and deliver results in a client-facing role.
  • Qualifications and Skills: Degree-qualified in a relevant field, such as construction, cost management, engineering, or quantity surveying, with membership of a recognized professional body.
