Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Centre Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Stott and May. As a key member of our data centre operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the electrical and mechanical systems of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical systems, including lighting installations, fault-finding, and lamp replacements.
  • Conduct regular emergency lighting tests to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot control panels to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Replace ballast in lighting systems and monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure efficient operation.
  • Perform M&E tasks, including plumbing, pump and motor servicing, and water treatment.
  • Keep detailed records and maintain log books to track maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical certification.
  • Ability to provide copies of relevant trade certificates.
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Multi-skilled across various aspects of M&E maintenance.
  • Data Centre/critical Infrastructure experience.
