About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our team at ABC Teachers. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of young children in nursery, pre-school, and reception classes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in lesson planning and delivery, providing support to the nursery teacher and occasionally leading activities to promote learning and development.
  • Provide a range of support options in large groups, intervention groups, and one-to-one settings to meet the diverse needs of children.
  • Contribute to the creation of a welcoming and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support and collaboration.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in early years education.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with nursery and EYFS students, with a Level 3 qualification in a childcare background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A valid DBS check and the ability to secure a minimum of two professional references.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for early years education.
