Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sampling Operations Manager to join our team at Anglian Water Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing a team of Laboratory Samplers who collect regulatory and operational samples across the Anglian Water Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day workloads and operations of the Laboratory Samplers to ensure timely, flexible, and accurate service delivery to our customers.
- Develop and implement efficient and sustainable operations through lean methodology and innovative thinking.
- Ensure methods and procedures are maintained and followed, and that Service Level Agreements are adhered to.
- Work closely with the Regional Sampling Manager and Senior Laboratory Operations Manager to develop team members' potential and promote a positive working environment.
- Participate in an operational management rota and standby.
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of sampling programs and ability to analyze, compare, interpret, and make decisions based on data.
- Experience in a regulated environment and managing a team, with the ability to identify development needs and provide opportunities.
- Ability to work to deadlines, deliver plans, and implement them effectively.
- Desirable: degree in a scientific field and Chartered Status.
